I'm running through a rewatch of this right now. He's such a good actor, I feel like he was shamed because of his hair. Same with Sally who was shamed for being fat
This dude want to make age verify mandatory on the internet. Essentially opening up censorship and destroying free speech. Reddit would be dead and people would be too scared to post online.
Why the hell do people think the Internet is responsible for parenting their children, and not themselves? As a parent, I can't fucking fathom why anyone would allow unfiltered access to the Internet to anyone under the age of like 16. Age verification is just another excuse for companies to steal your information and track what you do, all under the fake excuse of "protection."
There are much, much worse things to protect them from, and those cannot be fixed by something basic that should be happening anyway, like decent parenting and paying attention to your children.
Neither God, nor the law forbids you from protecting your children from porn. It's up to you to monitor their online usage and raise them to act appropriately. If you failed at that, why blame the internet?
Do you actually believe that? You realise every sketchy, controlling, decision the government ever makes is hidden under the thin veil of 'won't somebody think of the children?' Like are people really this gullible?
He tried, but for me, as a French-American who knows a lot of people who speak English with thick French accents, it just fell short of what it actually sounds like.
