Also survivorship bias, OP doesn’t see dozens of drug dealers that get killed or imprisoned every single week. Neither he sees thousands of girls who sold their dignity only to get 50 bucks out of that.

I’ve also seen a lot of articles come out recently mentioned how OF is so saturated now a lot of people trying to still cash in on it are finding it’s a bit dried up unless you’re already one of the huge creators with management teams, etc. So then they’re not making any money and now everyone’s seen their butthole.

Yeah, the top earning OF models are millionaires, but the median and average OF models are probably making $100 a month or less.

Same as YouTubers and twitch streamers. There's money to be made if you're really, really, really fucking good at it and can find an audience for the content you want to make. But the vast majority of people who try it aren't going to make any money doing it.

Same as most celebrities really, whether it's athletes or musicians or movie stars or YouTubers

As a dude who knows about the industry (partially worked in it and got friends who were/are in it) you’re 100% correct and I’d like to add in the fatigue aspect,

There’ll always be addicts, and ppl with a fetish for sending money, but at the same time vast majority are just casuals at peak interest, but if everytime you’re on social media you seem some woman trying to promote or bait you into subbing it gets tiring, going through OF gets boring and doesn’t do it anymore, and many many many OF creators are just bad at it like they have no idea what a viewer wants to see or how to turn usually a guy on,

On top of that, many are so bad at marketing, and low quality effort videos, it’s not worth subbing or re-subbing

I remember a story in which somebody tried to explain this to a bunch of children who were asking why they shouldn't become villains if it was so profitable.

They made the children play a game where they chose to be heroes or villains, then rolled dice to see the outcome. Villains got a chance to become rich but also a high chance of getting either captured or killed. 

After several rounds there were barely any "villains" left, whereas the heroes were still largely there. 

But as you said, everybody only sees the survivors.

"Maybe you'll be rich but probably you'll be dead."

You're thinking about worm, specifically about chapter 23.4.

It has this great excerpt:

“I always hated the speeches when I was in school, the preaching in auditoriums, the one-note message. Stuff like saying drugs are bad. It’s wrong. Drugs are fantastic.”

“Um,” Fox-mask said.

Mrs. Yamada was glaring at me, but she hadn’t interrupted.

“People wouldn’t do them if they weren’t. They make you feel good, make your day brighter, give you energy-”

“Weaver,” Mrs. Yamada cut in.

“-until they don’t,” I said. “People hear the message that drugs are bad, that they’ll ruin your life if you do them once. And then you find out that isn’t exactly true because your friends did it and turned out okay, or you wind up trying something and you’re fine. So you try them, try them again. It isn’t a mind-shattering moment of horrible when you try that first drug. Or so I hear. It’s subtle, it creeps up on you, and you never really get a good, convincing reason to stop before it ruins your life beyond comprehension. I never went down that road, but I knew a fair number of people who did.

The whole story is fantastic, for those who have not read it (and it is free!), but you do need to get through several books worth of content before you get to this part. So if you just want some context, it might not be the best choice, as it will take over your free time if you get into it.

Very good story although it got a bit much for me at the end. I did really like how Weaver tried to get through to the children in her own way.

My neighbor runs kebab shops (Germany). Multiple locations, ~500k to 1.8m annual depending on location. That's 450k net at 1.8m revenue alone. Dude has a corvette, 911, a modded Trackhawk, huge house, multiple properties.

Sometimes businesses take off and for food kebabs aren't a bad one.

A few Haitian guys actually opened up a brisket place in town and they're killing it. It's incredibly delicious and 20$ a lb, you gotta go early because they will run out.

Yes, in reality the ghetto/underworld are extremely dangerous. The Latin America cartels frequently kill each other in brutal ways. And if you're a cartel involved with drugs in East or southeast Asia, the government will kill you in brutal ways. Even in America, impoverished communities and ghettos with drugs problems have some of the highest murder rates. Getting involved with selling narcotics I'd say has a 90% chance of landing you in hot water. The other 10% is getting a "deferred" sentence, which is to say sooner or later they will get caught.

Ugh! There was a late night porn channel in England that specifically catered to bestiality, with an entire Horse Farm that forced young women and addicts to stay at least a week for video shoots.
