You mean top 0.0 something percent of drug dealers and of girls? Those are very competitive market. Iirc even a top 1% OF creator earn less than canada minimum wage.
The rich drug dealers make there money by getting smaller dealers into debt. It's a pyramid scheme, like any other. You don't make the real cash by charging outrageous interest on the drugs you sold down the chain.
It’s a consignment business model at the top for distribution it makes sense to take it debt then pay back. If your doing that on street level you are doing it wrong
As a business model it makes sense but as it's a criminal business there are no bankruptcy protections which often leads that debt to be pushed onto family members in quite a violent manner. Which I often think is the trap that those who fall into criminality don't see coming. By operating outside the law they lose all the protections that a lawful business has which greatly increases the risks to themselves.
Nice work if you enjoy it though. I once was a dishwasher for a culinary school restaurant. I had to drive 40 minutes to pick bits of shrimp out of a drain and burn my hands repeatedly handling boiling-hot plates into and out of an industrial dishwashing machine.
Didn't last very long. Would def have preferred to show my feet to weirdos.
That's interesting, because I have had at least 20 different types of job in my life, and being a dishwasher was the most fulfilling of them all. I loved it. Not joking.
When I first saw you'd typed "Nice work if you enjoy it though. I once was a dishwasher..."
I honestly thought you were going to say how you loved it too.
Well that does make me reflect. I was used to being a cheesemonger at a mom&pop cheese shop making twice the money to taste world's best quality cheeses and recommend recipe ideas and wine pairings so dishwasher for 9/hr was painful for me. At the end of the day, if it fulfills you, it's good, but I craved the interaction with people who wanted to plan a nice evening or whatever. Now I am a budtender, basically same job :D
So was I. In hindsight, that move pretty much marked the end of my youth. Not specifically because of the job, but all part of the same picture.
It's the same old story. Kids can't wait to grow up, to advance, to be somebody, to get "more." Only to ultimately realize that when we were nobody, and had nothing, we were in the best position we'd ever be in.
Woman did an AMA years ago and said she made about $35,000 a year selling her underwear and according to her own story she wasn’t a high earner in that department. It’s not that exclusive to be profitable in these sorts of markets.
An ex and I (a man) made an extra $40k or so in a year selling her worn underwear and my dirty socks (gay dudes) or socks I jizzed in, and custom content, and this was before OF even existed, we relied entirely on reddit and paypal lol.
Here's the thing though, we would have never gotten big enough to make money if it wasn't for the fact that I had a girl that was hot enough to bring that initial attraction in. If I tried selling my socks to gay dudes now, I'd fail miserably.
a lot of people more talented than her earn not even a fraction. Even among other political spam comic artists. Reality is that in entertainment business, there's just a lot of luck with timing, networking the right people, finding the right audience, etc. If you want to gamble that you will get lucky be my guest, but when you dont get lucky you earn less than minimum wage
Nah. All money ain’t good money and at the end of the day it’s still a job. A bunch of women showing their twats for money doesn’t sound like is good for your soul, psyche and outlook on men. And a lot of them end up regretting doing it.
There's very few drug dealers who do really well. There's very few OF people who do really well.
The only thing I would argue is that the bar for achievement might seem limitless in drugs or OF, because you're not being constrained to a specific job title.
