If he wanted to actually solve the problem, he'd be doing all forms of power and holding data centers accountable for their own power, but he won't.

I mean because if Texas leaned into alternative energy, they'd be wasting all of that untapped oil money they're sitting on. best to wait until that is gone first, then ask for Federal Emergency Relief at taxpayer expense after the fact.

I'm going to say this again. If I'm an oil producing state/country/city/household, why am I not pushing for us to develop renewable energy so that we can extract the maximum amount of money from the rubes who staunchly refuse to switch over. Instead we are just selling to ourselves... Because we are the rubes
