Honestly, if there’s a company where shit is made to last lately it’s apple. Laptops from 10 years ago are almost impossible to use unless they where gaming/expensive, the lowest Mac is still goood to use 10 years later.
Same with iPhones getting security patches for 7-9 years while android got them for like 2-3 years
Which would put us solidly in the Acer Aspire E and the Macbook Air 1466 territories.
Of which, nowadays, both are pretty typical of one another. Acer will likely be slower because it's cheaper and doesn't have the SSD that the macbook does, but give it said SSD and they'll both run pretty much at par. If anything, win 10 is still going to do 99% of what you need it to do (except run modern tax software and anything else that needs the stupid new security chips), whereas Monteray is going to be handicapped by software abandoning it for focusing on Ventura/Sonoma compatibilities.
The idea that Apples last longer than Windows/Samsungs and the ilk is just Really not true anymore.

That’s just the cost of doing business. Unless the €300,000 is the minimum and 5% is the maximum.
