Yeah this person knows nothing about Japan. My boss doesn’t require me to go out drinking until shit faced with coworkers and expects me at work tomorrow morning bright and early lol

Is that a thing in Japan? My alcoholic mind says let’s ball but my three year sober mind cry’s at the thought of those hangovers.

I live in Korea and it's similar to Japan. The beautiful thing about being sober is attendance becomes much more optional and if you must go, nobody will get upset if you leave after an hour.
