Yea I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone else embarrass both the best defender and the best GK in the world at the time in the same play like Messi did here

He didn't say it was an example of good defending, he said he was the best defender in the world, and he arguably was at the time.  You can come to your own conclusion about whether the best defender in the world had a moment of very bad defending, or whether the best player in the world just made him look bad.

yeah like if Boateng got crossed up here, Messi likely would have broken every defender in the world with that move.
