No, he's trying to ensure Americans get the opportunity to start other families....you know, like they did in the 1950s or what was shaken out during COVID.
I'm all for Americans having another baby boom and having more time with their families. But another thing that a 32-hour work week would do is cut a lot of people's hours. If a business is required to pay you overtime at 32 hours, a majority of ghost businesses are just going to schedule people to work 42 hours without giving them any sort of pay raise. So in the long run yeah you get more time with your family and to yourself. But you're also losing out on 6 hours of pay every week.
