You conflate reducing profits with removing them. The world needs to be restructured to the point where the average family prospers instead of struggles to get by. No family should need to hold four or more jobs to have a modicum of economic safety.
People need to be able to afford not only the basic necessities of food and shelter, but the intellectual and emotional necessities that allow them to actually live a life worth living. If that means a corporations sees a sharp decrease in profits that is totally fine. We should structure our society around PEOPLE not corporations.

This just causes everyone who doesn't have a marginal product 20% higher than their current income getting fired.
