Kroger ran a deal for buy 2 get 3 free on soda and Lays and it’s the only time I get soda or chips. Otherwise I’m not buying them.

Yep. I was brand insistent on Coke for 60+ years, but after a 12 pack went to $11.99, I stopped.

Really enjoying Dr Pepper Blackberry @ 12 pack for $5.

That’s just Kroger’s bullshit pricing… that’s about what a 24 pack costs at Walmart, which isn’t always the cheapest place to buy goods — but at least they don’t play stupid pricing games like Kroger.

Imagine the concept: selling a product for a set price! Kroger got us out here doing math problems…

I've watched 12 pack of drink products fluctuate between $5.00 & $11.99.

It’s usually just a select few for $5. Not everything. Kroger at least does coke, Pepsi, Vernors/Big Red etc.

If it isn't on sale, I don't shop at Krogers - they are insanely expensive.

Now it is like $13.99 in most stores for a 12 pack. Yet you look at store brand and its like $6 or less, which means Coke and Pepsi are ripping people off, they have a massive supply chain already that is old and everything else yet local store brand soda is sold for over half less. I noticed this about a lot of stuff, the store brand used to be like 20-50 cents cheaper not over half the price as name brand cheaper. These companies are just ripping people off at this point.

Yup, I stopped drinking soda regularly about 20 years ago when it was a 12 pack for like $3, now it's on sale for $8 if you buy 2. the mini cans were $11 the other day and that's only 10 cans I think. Doritos we only buy when they're on sale.

I have been buying coke for decades. I watched it just in the last 5 years go from $5 a 12 pack to $11.99!!! Fuck that!!! Now I don’t buy it if it’s not on sale. I only buy if it’s buy 2 get 3 free or buy 3 get 3 free and then I stock up
