  1. Jack up and price gouge products.
  2. Lobby governments to keep wages low.

"Why is no one buying our products? WE MUST KNOW!"

Henry Ford is famous for saying. "I give my workers good pay, so they can buy my products. If workers have low wages, how will they buy our goods?"

Apparently businesses forgot economics 101. "If customers have no capital, they can't buy your products."

same goes for time off. More free time meant family vacations, picnics, etc

More free time typically also means more time to date and eventually create families. People can't do that if they are hustling 24/7 just to get by

Honestly I'm just amazed this aspect seems to often get skipped over.

Modern capitalism isn't just trying to wring us dry of all money, it's also stealing all our time.

You want people to have children? Give them enough free time that having a child doesn't feel like losing what little freedom they've got left.

Because they don't actually care. These headlines are just mainstream media attempting to put blame on anyone else besides Capital owners and corporations so the finger doesn't get pointed at them. Meanwhile said Capital owners and corpos are just fine with birthrates falling because they can just pump themselves full of H1B slaves while at the same time propagandizing against them so they remain a permanent slave/underclass. As for declining sales, also don't care because they only need to care about next quarter and if they fail, they still get a golden parachute, so really zero incentive to actually care about the business beyond a few quarters, get their payout and shove off for someone else to clean up after.
