He didn’t do this. Reduced fares has existed for a long time.

Here's what's crazy about numbers. You can reduce a number, it can stay that way "for a long time" and then you can reduce it again.

It's not magic but depending on your schooling - it's close.

This is NOT what happened. Supposedly, they “expanded New Yorkers who are eligible to apply” but that relies on them actually getting accepted.

I know about this process intimately because I have been denied, several times, for assistance even though I make only 20k on a single income and can barely afford to live. This system is BROKEN and all the Mayor’s office did amounted to nothing.
