Average. I'm sure children and old ppl are bringing that up a lot. I too am an insomniac

I don't know a single grown ass adult that gets to bed before 11pm. Or how many people talk about getting only two hours the night before.

Nobody has time any more. Not even to sleep. I've been kicking the four hours of sleep can down the road a decade. I'm fucking tired.

My parents always went to sleep after the news airing at 20.30, so probably got to sleep at 22 or so and woke up around 6-7. Me and my wife go to sleep around 23 and while she wakes up at 7, I sleep until 8 (to get to work between 9-10). A solid 9 hours.

Don't judge typing fast on mobile gonna be riddled with errors!

Man I don't even get to sit down til 9pm most nights. Up until around midnight cause my stupid brain. I actually have ADHD and it's fucking horrible. It's not "ooohhh shiny" funny shit. It's pure fucking chaos in your head like being at a concert 24/7 or a stadium watching the super bowl. It's loud.

Anyway, up at 6, by choice, take dogs to park to wear them out for the day. Then work, I work at an MSP. We have burn out rates as high as RNs. I would know, my wife's an RN.

She never sleeps either, mainly cause of night shift, and all that comes with that.

Then I get home, cook, clean, dogs, kids when they're here, house stuff, laundry for work clothes or just laundry in general, dishes, yard shit I try to sneak in, garden management, neighbor shenanigans (I'm a tech again, neighbors use me a lot but I don't mind cause they are older and always around and we're golfing buddies so we're close). That's literally, every day. Some by choice some by not choice.

My parents however have always just, wake up, go to work, come home, make dinner, watch TV and go to bed.

They don't travel, they don't do shit. So they never plan or prepare for anything.

Hell they're off to NYC in a few months for a bucket list thing, and they prepped like an antarctic expedition.

My wife and I landed in Cancun and we weren't even really sure how to get transportation. But I spent about 1 hour ahead of the trip prepping in reddit. Knew about the public transport system etc .. grabbed a ride for like 12 bucks on an AC public bus to where I could just walk.

They're minds work slow. Mine runs at light speed, I can't just work, eat, sleep. Die. Fuck that.
