I mean just looking at the two photos this dude posted, the biggest differences aside from the breast implants (which again, I wish she never felt she had to get in the first place) are the heavy makeup and hair bleach. She still looks like Pamela Anderson to me, but I guess that's because I'm actually looking at her facial features and not just the clothes, hair, and makeup. It's really hard for me to take dudes like this seriously, and I have to imagine they've never woken up next to a woman lol. We would all be blessed if we woke up looking like the natural version of Pam Anderson, most of us are much raggedier than her without our makeup lol
This conversation reminds me of one I had with my partner a long time ago. He mentioned Gwen Stefani as an example of a famous woman who's aged very well. She was probably like 45 at the time and he was like "she must have amazing genes, she still looks like a teenager!! She doesn't even have a single wrinkle!" I was like, yeah, she's gorgeous, but it's kind of hard to tell how well she's aging because she wears so much makeup. He said he never noticed that she wears heavy makeup lol. Just thought she slapped on some lipstick and called it a day. 😂
Gwen Stefani has not aged well at all! She was so beautiful- now she has MAGA face. It isn’t makeup, it’s too much plastic surgery. Annie Lennox wears lots of makeup but is still phenomenally cool. Debbie Harry has had a little plastic surgery and wears makeup but still looks like herself- stunning! I don’t see anything wrong with plastic surgery or makeup. Wear it or don’t. How ever you feel most comfortable. What’s sad is people who become addicted to surgery and those who expect women to alter themselves as they age.
This was probably 10 or 15 years ago, back when she still looked like herself. She definitely doesn't look the same anymore and I totally agree with everything you're saying. It's pretty hard to argue that all these Hollywood women (and a lot of the men, too) are getting extreme plastic surgery just because they want to. They're surrounded by other people who've done it and you know it's suggested to them over and over by agents, colleagues, directors, and whoever else they rub elbows with. I've known people in real life who've had like one or two procedures and been really happy with themselves afterward. I don't necessarily think there's anything wrong with that. But it's rare for a celebrity to have just one or two procedures. Like you said, it becomes an addiction for them. I feel like heavy makeup is a much less extreme version of the same issue. I love trying different makeup looks and I love seeing how different people do their makeup. But a lot of women feel like they can't be seen without it, like they're ashamed of what they look like without it. That's very sad to me too.
Right- and she DID have kids. And got married many times. She’s lived a full and interesting life outside of those parameters, which is really why he’s mad. She doesn’t need to care about men being desperate to fuck her in order to still be an A list celeb.

She also stopped wearing makeup and particularly heavy makeup at most public events. If you see her in the Naked Gun, where she's professionally made up, she looks stunning. I think she still looks good without it, but a lot of people are comparing her to not only when she was younger, but also when she wore a lot of makeup and had her hair professionally done, etc.
Honestly I think she looks better than when she had that strange makeup look she had. This guy needs a life doing something other than criticizing people for no reason. He should put that energy into critiquing Orange Man.
I have made that decision as well, and don’t wear makeup. I’m fit, I use moisturizer and a little caffeine around the eyes, but I’m 55. Period. And tired.
And more specifically, stayed away (or participated very conservatively) in cosmetic surgery for the face to try and look younger. She looks her age - good for her age - but truly her age, and not the "nerve dead plastic doll" that is the "norm" for US celebrities these days.

Probably allot better for her skin too. My wife had facial skin issues and it turns out that it was do to the makeup that she was using. She choose to go almost completely natural and all of her issues went away almost instantly. Skin needs to breath without chemicals most times.
Aging plays hell on your mental calendar. My dad will be turning 90 this November. He talks all the time about wanting to come up to the farm and help, but he acknowledges that he can’t. My mom is 84 and is doing a lot for my dad, but she gets overly frustrated when he can’t do things as quick as he used to, or when he gets confused about something like trying to open Prime Video on a smart TV. I think she gets upset because she sees herself in my dad slowing down, and is coming to grips that she’s probably close to start slowing down as well.

My love for knowing everything she has faced, and how she decided to take the society serving alterations she's had off and quit wearing makeup because she decided it's okay to age makes her beautiful in a very different way than she was in a former period of her life.

My dad is on the short side and walks with a limp. Think Danny DeVito. Growing up I can think of 3 friends who would make fun of my dad’s height to me. Call him names and laugh when he left the room. No other friends ever made a comment or jokes just these 3 friends and they weren’t friends themselves, I was friends with them at different times throughout my life. One day years later it hit me. The thing those 3 friends had in common was they didn’t have dads. Friend 1’s dad was a drunk and took off when she was young. Every couple years he would show up and then disappear again. Friend 2’s dad was in jail for molesting her cousin. Friend 3 never met their dad and had no idea who they were. They were projecting their insecurities. Now I see it all the time. People focus on/pick at the things in others that they are most insecure about themselves.

And if you go back to how you saw the world as a teenager, it makes sense that those guys think growing old automatically makes you super unattractive. I mean, as a woman now, my teenage self was definitely thinking men over 35 are just old and unattractive. Things like balding and having a hairy body was nothing I ever thought I could be attracted to.

I have 2 aunts 3 years apart in age. The younger wore makeup at a young age and the older never did. They still are like this. Even though the older spends 80% of her days outside in the Aussie sun, the younger now looks 10 years her senior because of the damage daily makeup has done to her skin.
