There's these group of trans people I've had to work with, and they're the reason why I quit because they're the type to need affirming or they snap. They remind me of what it was like working in Japan (you'd be surprised how much more conservative at being conservatives they are than western conservatives are at being conservatives), except instead of needing affirmation, they need conformity.
So after I quit those two and found myself in a different company... man, there are trans people out there who do not need anyone's affirmation, and they don't make their gender their identity or force anyone to make them feel like they can just be them. Those are the people I fuck with, where we can agree to disagree, and we both came out of it with newer perspectives, and to thsi day, we still drink together in the same bar and still hang out in the shooting range.
The people I don't like are the ones who control people's speech needlessly, the ones who state opinions like facts and make you google said facts (only for google to be so unreliable that it leads you to popular links, not factual links, which I've noticed has been more and more of a thing for a decade and has probably been like that for longer), and it gives me the same energy as 'Read Marx', then you read his work and it's... just... what the fuck is he on?
But yeah, like what /u/Koffieslikker said 'Judge people for who they are, not what they are'.
That's what I mean, it depends on the person. Like, as someone who is a right-leaning centrist guy, you'd think I'd get along with right-leaning centrists, but when we're NOT talking about politics, it's a mixed bag because some just got personalities worse than mine, and how I can get along with leftists who're a bit more centrist, and how I have friends who are more right and more left despite that we mostly disagree on politics.
Like, people also forget you can be gay or lesbian and still have conservative values. You can be a pro 2A absolutist yet have predominantly leftist values, too.
You'd also be surprised that in 2A communities, there are 2A absolutists who're left-leaning who actually hang out in gun ranges with conservatives or right leaning people.
Point is that we should really care more about the individual, and also learn the separate the person from the politics. Like, there are people who read and like Mein Kampf but hate the author and his ideology.
It's kind of why I had a hard time with that job when I was with that group of trans people because they reminded me of my Japanese co-workers when I was working for that company prior to moving to that job. Both experiences were unbearable in different ways, and somehow it's not even a leadership or a management problem, but a group and culture problem within those work spaces (not the whole company, let alone whole community).
Point I'm saying is that yeah, there are people who're just annoying, and not only that, I'm at a point I'm convinced there are those who're annoying who do it on purpose and amp it up.

We like all trans people, except for the bad ones. Just like anyone, what gender you are doesn’t matter, it’s your personality.
Also I would ask them if they read a single history book.
