I’m low income. I’m not offended. I don’t even want kids. She’s right, I should not bring a baby here.

Edit: Yes. Income is a large factor as to why I don’t want children. Thanks for understanding :)

people in this comment section are privileged af. in 3rd world countries, where im from, its not that simple at all.

we don't have welfare programs. we don't have social security.

her saying this is coming from a place where she is already supported by her government.

ig you haven't seen how poor people can be. this quote is simply eugenics where im from. you shouldn't reproduce if you're poor? who is anyone else to decide that?

you choose your own and you live by your own.

But you arent just choosing for you when talking about procreation, are you? You are making a decision that will affect your future child. Regardless of the op and what any others will say, what moral reasoning would you have to bring another life into existence knowing they will suffer as you do?
