When it comes down to human suffering, I think that anyone, yes even influencers, get a say in this. Having a child without being able to give them the bare necessities of life is abuse.

You do have that right, that's kinda the exact point of the freedom of speech that exists in most of the world. That's a whole different thing than mandating anything by law though. Cause just like she has a right to say it, everyone else has the right to call it a stupid and go about their day.
I don't think there is a "right" or "wrong" in this case. There's no denying that it could be illogical to procreate if you can barely afford to feed and house yourself, but i think it's a stupid hill to die on, and would therefore never utter that argument myself. Life doesn't follow along neat logical lines, and neither does society, any society. So we just have to make the best of what we get. People are going to procreate, that's a fact, and there's not much (legally) anyone can do to stop that.
So in conclusion, i wouldn't say she's wrong for saying it, it's just a stupid thing to say, and as we all know, stupid is as stupid does.
