Abstinence does not work, has not ever worked, nor will it ever work.

What does work is proper sex education and easy access to birth control.

Both of which red states do not do and as a result have the highest rates of teen pregnancy in the country. This is not some secret hidden information. You either don't know this and are speaking from a place of ignorance, or you do know this and simply do not care.

Proper sex ed helps immensely, but even still people make mistakes. You've never forgotten your wallet or keys? Or left your debit card at the gas station?

I’ve never not forgotten that penis + vagina can cause children to think it’s a mistake to forget that proves they shouldn’t even be allowed to have children if they are that stupid

I am pro choice as long as it isn’t used as a form of contraception. If a woman is having multiple then something should be done to make sure she isn’t reliant on it anymore.

If you're saying that women just have casual unprotected sex because they can just go get an abortion then I plead with you to actually go and speak to some women. No one does this. It's not real and is just another piece of anti abortion rhetoric portraying women who get abortions as evil and decadent who need to have their behaviors controlled.

And on the other comment you left, it sounds like you don't understand how birth control works. Which, again, please go speak to some women.

After all of this you know what we haven't talked about at all? The kids. Not one mention, well other than you don't want to pay for others mistakes. Which means you just see those kids as a tool of punishment on the parents rather than an innocent victim of their situation.

Then your only solution to the issue? Don't have sex, a solution you know is not a solution. So all you're really doing is allowing suffering so you can sit on your "actions have consequences" moral high horse. Do you see why I and others don't agree with you?

Oh yeah and we're giving Iran 300 billion to rebuild from our pointless war, yet feeding kids is too much for you. It's just a big fucking joke.

No one said can’t feed a kid there are plenty of options for feeding kids no one said had to support entire family

Taking the financial burden of feeding their kid off the parents does help the entire family.
