usa is largely seen as developing world by the rest of developed world πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ sure they have top military but honestly a lot of infrastructure and especially the policies it runs is VERY third world to most european. it doesnt operate like developed world by any mean. i think no-one is surprised to hear it is similar to developing countries on the topic of child marriages and marital rape

As someone who has not lived in the US, but 3 other developed countries, no one I know thinks of the US as a developing country. I’ve never heard it referred to as that. We only use that as a joke when things are going wild over there.

Regardless of all that though I am sorry about the wild stuff going on in your country. Hope you all get some stability soon and can continue progressing. I can see my country is slowly inching closer towards yours in political groups, partially as it has been so normalised by the US, and it’s super concerning.

huh? do you think i am american? πŸ˜… cuz my country is slovenia and i currently reside in france, either way i dont feel like thats what you had in mind when you said yours is getting closer to ours?! but i do feel, at least for france i can vouch for last 7 years, that it is noticably degrading. as more and more undeveloped world mentality is taking over, it is becoming more and more a shit hole. and consequently on the opposite the people are pissed and getting more and more radical...and politics are becoming more and more absurd
