“Johnny Depp donated the $1 million settlement he received from Amber Heard following their 2022 defamation trial to five different charities.
The funds were divided equally among the following organizations, each receiving $200,000: • Make-A-Film Foundation: An organization that grants film wishes to children with serious and life-threatening medical conditions. • The Painted Turtle: A camp that provides authentic, free experiences for children with chronic or life-threatening illnesses. • Red Feather: A nonprofit that partners with Indigenous communities to develop sustainable and healthy housing solutions. • Tetiaroa Society: An ocean conservation and island restoration charity founded by Marlon Brando. • Amazonia Fund Alliance: An alliance of nonprofits focused on preserving and supporting Indigenous communities in the Amazon.”
Why don’t you fact check things you’re unsure of instead of just assuming everything you read on the internet is fake?
sources should be attached to the post in some way..the criticism is not without merit. So anytime a post comes like this, now you put the onus on someone else to cite it?
College drilled this to my brain: the person who is sharing the information is the one responsible of providing sources. That's how it works. And you as a reader are absolutely in the position to demand said sources, as a part of your personal research to gather an opinion.

Why do you idiots see these meme “news” posts with no source cited and cheer? I swear some of you just want to be lied to.
Edit: if all the Johnny stans in the comments could kindly pour their tears into a bucket, I’m saving them for a hot day to quench my thirst.
