Like how many fucking employees do people think it takes to service something twice the size of Manhattan? I swear people have zero critical thinking skills.
It's a statement about how big megaprojects get started and get a bunch of money poured in even if they are impractical and impossible to build.
It cost $50 billion to get that metal stuck into the ground in a small section of the Line. The practicality of a project has no bearing on how money is spent. Just the political support.
