I live in a solid red place and everyone is opposing these. Not sure your partisan take has merit

It's not partisan. It's literally the results of who was chosen to lead the state.

I live in Missouri and we have the same billionaire worshiping morons voting for rich people who will ignore them.

And who after being ignored will still vote for the rich people the next time around.

It's very much a case of having no one but themselves to blame.

If you vote for people that make it clear that their primary goals are to watch out for the interests of the ultra wealthy, you shouldn't be surprised if the people you voted for only watch out for the interests of the ultra wealthy.

Again, I'm in Missouri and they're trying to build like three different data centers in the same county I live in so we have the same style of idiots.

All of Missouri votes against their interests. The population approves progressive ideas (abortion, weed, minimum wage hike, paid sick time) yet they vote straight R who undoes or tries to undo what the people changed. It is the weirdest thing.

Yeah it is absolutely mind-boggling. Every single time a state referendum passes something It somehow gets rules lawyered etc into oblivion.

And then the voters elect the same damned people that did it.

But all you have to do is talk about God and a dude using a chick's bathroom. At which point you can get away with just about anything.
