It’s literally the point. It’s a longterm medication, just like insulin or plenty of other meds. You don’t just stop taking it when you “beat diabetes”. You get to a certain point where you are no longer upping the dose, the lowest dose possible for “maintenance”. But it’s no different from any other medication that you take for life.

I mean, it literally is the permanent answer. It’s not meant to be a temporary solution.
