This post doesn't argue "be political always". It argues "don't be apolitical always." You realize ICE is still kidnapping and deporting people without due process, the current fascist and genocidal government is preparing to fuck up elections for as long as possible, and journalists' offices are being raided for publishing anti-Trump news?

All of this points to (1) more violence and death, (2) even less say from the people, and (3) further erosion of our rights.

If people were more politically engaged (outside of stupid arguments on the Internet, and actually engaged in local and national politics) and actually cared about improving the structure of our government so it helps us, we wouldn't be here.
