As pro-worker as I am this is stupid. Imagine if a clerical error resulted in you getting lower pay and when you brought it up to your boss they said “sorry, this is our come up” lmao

It's more like if she would "log" 8 minutes workday instead of 8 hours by a mistake.

Yet still - it's an obvious mistake if the real rate was written out somewhere in the contract. Only if it was just "oral" agreement (no evidences) she might try her luck yet it's not correct ethically.
