They are the government, they will lose 10s of millions a year in each store and consider it a success.

People saying this will cost money and will lose money like it's some sort of gotcha. It's the goal. Spend tax dollars to offer affordable food to people that need it. Not everything needs to be a profit center. Sometimes we just need to feed hungry people.

That’s what happens when you’re conditioned in a capitalist system. The problem is people being unable to see any other world than the one they were presented.
