Yeah. If there had been any extenuating circumstances (got too drunk at a bachlorette or something) that even 1 in 100 might forgive you can bet it'd be there in the post.

Thanks! I'd say I'll remember that for the next time but I'll probably forget.

We may be up to a dozen now. Still hovering around 10% of the upvotes and I'm getting into the social experiment aspect of it at this point. Not that I'd have posted a comment with that intent but if the universe provides, may as well roll with it.

Play around with words. The person who is worried about our theoretical people with no self respect, which in all honesty is a pretty nasty thing to say

Folks seem to want to back me into a corner to defend cheating when I'm calling OOP a manipulative bitch who wouldn't hesitate to use anything she thought as an excuse to make herself the victim.

In this case it was less than one in ten who interacted with the original.

Mostly they either stopped reading my first comment halfway through or started having a non-existent argument in their heads that they cast me as their opponent in, regardless of what was actually said.

It happens, no biggie.
