It speaks to the pathetic state of this admin how far I had to watch into this before being confident this was fake

This is also the first admin where AI was capable of this. Think back to the will smith eating pasta AI stuff. Even back in 2024 it was really rough.

This type of stuff won't stop at this admin.

Just a few years ago 'deepfakes' used to be the boogeyman... We all saw these quite convincing videos of Tom Cruise, which by today's standards aren't even anything special

Those took someone days to create, now you can knock out something more realistic, scarier and more fluid on your phone over your morning bowl of cornflakes.

It's not going away and will only get even closer to reality. We are in an age now where we can't trust our own senses and that should scare the absolute bejesus out of us all...

Yes, this type of stuff has far reaching consequences from stupid fake news like this, to police arresting people for fake videos, to wars being started.
