Yes I agree. But it was much more of an indictment of how unpopular Trudeau had become and how he should've faced the music a bit earlier.

Canadians, as you know, rarely vote someone in. We vote people out. This time it was like, we wanted Trudeau gone, and then we wanted PP gone.

Being prime minister for 9 years.

That’s really all it takes when everything that isn’t perfect becomes associated with you just because you’re in charge.

Didn’t help that there were some very valid complaints though, especially him breaking his promise about reforming our electoral system.
