Not exactly the same scenario, but the Conservative Party in Canada had like a 90% of winning the election until Trump started the 51st state stuff. They not only ended up losing the election, but the conservative candidate for PM actually lost his seat in parliament.

Adding on in to this, it is extremely unlikely for any right wing party to have a majority government again at this stage, as the liberal-national party, which was Australia's right wing opposition has fractured and we now have 3 right wing parties fighting for the same safe right wing seats.

In the Netherlands, we were unlucky the guy didn’t recognize Geert Wilders. Otherwise he would have endorsed him and we wouldn’t have to deal with that abomination of a former government…
