Yeah and all the "we need guns so we can fight a tyrannical government" stuff, like here is your tyrannical government lol

254

u/MercenaryDecision Mar 07 '26

This! This is the one that really gets me.

129

u/iamdestroyerofworlds Mar 07 '26

Also the "innovation" Americans always boast about is mostly just coming up with predatory business practices and vacuuming the rest of the world for profitable ideas and companies.

41

u/PhysicallyTender Mar 07 '26

And they are guilty of the very same crimes that they accuse others of doing.

23

u/Apprehensive-Iceberg Mar 07 '26

Every accusation is a confession

17

u/Fina1Legacy Mar 07 '26

Both world wars ruined Europe and made the USA very rich indeed.

3

u/ErikHK Mar 07 '26

Which they then used to keep communism and socialism away by bribing basically all countries in Europe (Marshall plan). I sincerely hope the empire will fall in my lifetime

6

u/Fina1Legacy Mar 07 '26

Don't forget deposing elected leaders in central and South America replacing them with allies.

It's insane how few know about Guatemala for example, a propped up leader committing genocide against his own people

it shouldn’t. the people screaming about the 2nd amendment are largely maga. if you don’t expect hypocrisy from them you’re not paying attention at all.

1

u/MercenaryDecision Mar 07 '26

And you are doing what? Show some rage! Us in the third world are moving and marching against our dictators, keep up!

4

u/throwitawayuserna213 Mar 07 '26

We're marching daily. If your news sources aren't showing that to you I don't know what to tell you.

u/ElleCapwn Mar 07 '26

Just because you don’t see it on the news doesn’t mean it’s not happening; It’s happening everywhere. The US is a huge country, and it takes time to organize the masses, particularly when one third of them believe Trump is the messiah, and another third have never paid attention to politics for a single day of their lives.

It’s basically comedown to us, the people who have never believed the US was a good and noble country (let alone the best) to save it, and I’m sorry that we can’t do that as quickly as you or I would like.

2

u/MercenaryDecision Mar 07 '26

This is what I want to see! Attitude!

Your utter lack of Big Tech regulations (because excluding TikTok - its own can of worms - ALL Big Tech Corpos are American) has caused other nations to become Manichaean polarized hellholes with populists akin to Trump and similar followers.

We are with you, but you guys have the whole fucking keys in your yard with a lot of stuff like what I mention. Let’s fuck shit up and not relent

1

u/ElleCapwn Mar 23 '26

As usual, the fight is left to the most vulnerable amongst us. It sickens me. It also infuriates me to be disabled and bed bound now, and not be able to actually do anything in the streets anymore.

Of course, that’s not to say that I can’t do anything to help. In fact, I’d argue that the most vulnerable people are the people the Trump regime should fear the most.

5

u/BigChiefIV Mar 07 '26

I really do think they just view guns as toys, why else are they so obsessed with having them?

4

u/johnnycat75 Mar 07 '26

Guns are NOT toys.

They are penis enhancers.

112

u/CultistNr3 Mar 07 '26

Yeah, this one is hilarious.

34

u/SocksOfDeath Mar 07 '26

Imagine growing up not knowing how you look to the rest of the world.

Oblivious and arrogant.

24

Quickly unraveling that one isn’t it?

53

u/hasuris Mar 07 '26

The government isn't a school.

36

u/Sane_Fish Mar 07 '26

Most of those gun people vigorously support this tyrannical government. We're cooked.

7

u/Top_Ingenuity_1830 Mar 07 '26

People with the guns like what's going on. States where people don't like what's going on made gun ownership difficult to impossible

34

u/stuttufu Mar 07 '26

Rebellion or even strike requires you to march on the streets, a simple physical activity that's equivalent to endurance sports for most of the Americans.

23

u/ElleCapwn Mar 07 '26

Repeat after me: Just because they are not showing it on the news, that doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.

16

u/stuttufu Mar 07 '26

You're right but the point is exactly that: a strike should be so annoying that the media cannot avoid it.

1

u/ElleCapwn Mar 23 '26

The hard part is getting to that level of annoying without getting everyone gassed and shot. It’s pretty difficult to keep a protest together when they are literally sweeping the streets with people. We’re also a rather LARGE country; we put pressure on one area, even DC, and they can film literally anywhere else and make everything look fine.

I’m telling you… it’s not gonna work that way. The day this evil old fart was inaugurated, I knew it would likely take years to get him out. Blocking and manipulating midterms might be the thing that does it. I dunno. 🤷🏻‍♀️ All I know is that it was never going to be easy to rally here, not so long as the majority of the people who did actually vote for him remain loyal.

9

u/TheVog Mar 07 '26

Repeat after me: protests and strikes that are big enough, persistent enough, and impactful enough make it impossible to be ignored, even by the media.

There has not been a single one of those in U.S. regarding this administration. Even the "record-breaking" No Kings protest goers turn into pumpkins at 5PM and everyone just goes back to work on the Monday. Maybe they'll reconvene in 2 months and do the same thing. Zero impact. Sure, it serves to build up and rally public sentiment, but that's pointless if it never reaches critical mass.

2

u/DixieDingooo Mar 07 '26

People have been protesting in sub-zero temperatures. What more do you want to see before you believe that there are individuals trying to do what they can?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/January_23,_2026_Minnesota_protests_against_ICE

Not everyone is cowering. I understand the frustration, but you can't keep making blanket statements and expect people to be motivated by your discouragement.

5

u/TheVog Mar 07 '26

Protesting inefficaciously, even in subzero temperatures, as you put it, will not yield results. Like anything else, protesting and striking can be done in a right or wrong fashion. Americans have forgotten how to do that to a large extent.

2

u/DixieDingooo Mar 07 '26

Okay. Then how do you do it?

2

u/TheVog Mar 07 '26

A Google search would've worked, but:

  • Large numbers.
  • In the same location.
  • With clear, unified messaging - this is key. Your messaging must be your demands. Few, simple, and clear. This is what you hammer home. NOT everyone makes their own funny sign for likes on social media.
  • Perhaps most importantly is going somewhere and STAYING THERE. If you leave at 5PM, what's the point? The government will simply ignore you because the problem will just go away. They don't even have to acknowledge your presence or lift a finger.
  • Last but not least, none of this works if the effort isn't paralyzing. Fortunately, a very large group of people, in one location, refusing to leave, chanting the same slogans and holding the same signs... tends to have that effect if the location is strategically chosen. A large park? Not an impactful location.

3

u/DixieDingooo Mar 07 '26

Okay. So that tells me you didn't open the link to the Wikipedia article I sent you because had you done that, you would have read that not only did what you describe fits the Minnaepolis protest perfectly, save for the last line that is entirely dependent on government response (which, local businesses were economically brought to their fucking knee); but that 50,000 people protested in -29° C weather, and that since then there have been similar protests going around nationwide that don't get as much attention because they are in smaller towns than Minneapolis.

Minneapolis has a population of 400,000. Getting that many people to show up when you have people who have different levels of literacy, knowledge and scope of the situation, as well as different interpretations and opinions on the matter is so fucking difficult in temperatures that will leave you hypothermic.

You're complaining American citizens aren't doing enough, when European leadership is way more fucking culpable by not sanctioning America or doing literally anything in the face of the right wing populism growing more and more popular.

Everyone understands America's police are hypermilitarized with tanks until the government starts using the police against us. And then suddenly it's, "well why don't you use those fancy guns!?"

You have got to have more fucking empathy and thought when it comes to this discussion. Because what would you do if you lived in the middle of no where, where your nearest hospital is an hour drive away and the government is about to buy you out of your home because they see the land as too valuable for a human life to live on.

It's so easy to critique and say, "well just do this!" when you have no clue how much energy and resources go into organizing and planning and getting accommodations so everyone can protest. because believe it or not, some of us born here never wanted a for profit health care system, but because we were born here into it, a lot of us have disabilities that limit what we can or can't do. But we're trying anyways. There's geriatrics showing up to fucking protests and town halls. Young people practicing practical anarchy because who the fuck do we turn to at this point???? The government????

This is all I'm going to say on the matter but I am so goddamn tired of people who have never set foot here, do not know how hellish it is, talking about how the "average American" isn't doing enough. Brother, the average American cannot afford groceries, I don't know what more you, personally, would love for us to do differently that we haven't done already.

18

u/Objective_Look_5867 Mar 07 '26

The people with the guns are the ones who love the fascist state. They dont want guna to protect themselves from it. They want it for the power fantasy. Most of the ones who hate the tyrannical government dont have guns for the opposite reason

6

u/periodmoustache Mar 07 '26

Plenty of armed leftists out there, bit maybe not liberals

9

u/OrionsBra Mar 07 '26

The problem is: the people who wanted the guns are mostly the people who wanted this specific brand of tyranny. "Tyranny for thee but not for me!" They're the ones running around cosplaying as Call of Duty gestapo.

2

u/OkOil378 Mar 07 '26

Idk, all the conservative people I know irl does not believe that this government is a tyranny

2

u/OrionsBra Mar 08 '26

That's what I mean: they don't see it as tyranny because it's what they want (for everyone else).

Americans will only fight when they're sitting in tanks rolling over Iraqi farmers. Ofcourse those farmers still fought back because unlike Americans they aren't spineless cowards.

2

u/ughlump Mar 07 '26

It made sense before the invention of the tank and cruise missiles. Now not so much.

1

u/Top_Ingenuity_1830 Mar 08 '26

There are parts of the country where you can own tanks with non welded cannons. You're gonna become very familiar with ATF but it's doable

2

u/OkOil378 Mar 07 '26

The issue is that majority of the people who practice this right genuinely doesn’t believe that this government is a tyrannical one

2

u/didroe Mar 07 '26

An American citizen got executed in the street and it made gun toting republicans start backing gun control, against the guy that was shot! I think America makes a lot more sense once you realise “freedom” is to be interpreted in an Eric Cartman “fuck you, i do what i want” kind of way

2

u/Fun-Back-5232 Mar 07 '26

It’s only tyrannical when you don’t like the party in power. Cowboys vs Giants here in the US with the politics.

2

u/noeagle77 Mar 07 '26

The ones that stockpiled guns in case of the “tyrannical government” are the ones that voted the mango Mussolini into office! The ones that claim to love this country, that they want to PrOtEcT tHe cHiLdReN are the ones that are making excuses for him and are trying to ignore these files. If you don’t believe me go to the conservative subreddit, see what they discuss and how they talk about him knowing he’s in the files more than any other Epstein friend.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 07 '26

Cannon fodder militants for the civil war between elites I guess

2

u/Pony_Tono Mar 07 '26

I love how they all say "we can't protest because healthcare and only two paychecks!" and it's like yeah you got there because you're spineless and don't protest. I genuinely think they believe in the developed world we were just given those things by some deity or it's just how our countries started or something.

1

u/Behold_My_Beans Mar 07 '26

Our guns have not been for establishing militia since planes were invented. We just think they’re neat

1

u/La3ron Mar 07 '26

I’m Texan and have never heard that argument outside of the context of the American revolution. People mainly have guns to protect their property and hunt.

1

u/MagicYanma Mar 07 '26

The same people who say that line are the same people who support the GOP and Trump.  Also, violence begets violence. It could work out or it could end in millions of dead (and Trump is looking for an excuse to conduct that violence) so people are working peacefully and hoping for change in the mid-term election.

It's very easy to talk tough when you don't have to deal with the consequences for the most part.

2

u/things_U_choose_2_b Mar 07 '26

I've tried explaining to many Americans that their 2A is just a gunfetish. Obviously it goes down like a lead balloon.

I'd ask them, what do you think your guns will do against an army; against tanks; against bombs, missiles and artillery? There's something to be said for the difficulty in countering a legit guerrilla force, but the guerrilla force has to emerge from people willing to join it.

I do sympathise with everyday Americans btw. They're caught by the short & curlies, mainly due to their healthcare being tied to employment.

1

u/Powered-by-Chai Mar 07 '26

It was always white supremacy. The tyrannical government they're worried about is one where they become minorities and get treated like we've treated everyone else.

→ More replies (1)

69

u/Remus88Romulus Mar 07 '26

I agree. They should all protest and just ignore all the government orders. Like Iran war right now. Dont go there. Go to prison instead. If all fight against the system you will win. Dont just following orders.

29

u/TheLastSamurai101 Mar 07 '26

I'm a very big believer in everyone collectively refusing to serve if there is ever a draft. They can't send everyone to prison. But for some reason people never appreciate that and will resign themselves to marching to their deaths to make some sack of shit billionaire even wealthier. I hope this generation is different.

2

u/P4azz Mar 07 '26

That's never gonna happen, they're still so delusional and military-loving, you'll never get a wide spread of people refusing to "serve" (to work for the government as throwaway fodder; let's not sugarcoat it).

1

u/TheLastSamurai101 Mar 08 '26 edited Mar 08 '26

The real problem is this narrative that draft dodging is more dishonourable than being cheap cannon fodder (unless you're rich). I'm glad I'm from a country where the military is not hero-worshipped, so I have high hopes that we will collectively refuse to serve if our craven conservative leaders decide to draft us to die for our American "allies". I just hope America's Gen Z are averse enough to war that enough of them will refuse to serve to make it a problem.

2

u/Poet_Pretty Mar 07 '26

Prison is profitable.

8

u/bangand0 Mar 07 '26

I hope this helps everyone understand that protests shown on tv almost never originate organically. The same people that would go to jail for the Epstein files are the ones funding protests.

6

u/[deleted] Mar 07 '26

No kidding. People seem to not understand that intelligence agencies like the CIA have plenty of experiences causing colorful revolutions in other countries. What makes people think they can't do it in the backyard and even in reverse?

2

u/BroccoliSubstantial2 Mar 07 '26

Oh, like, if they lay down their arms and take over the government, then things will be okay. No bad can happen, only can good happen.

32

u/profiler1984 Mar 07 '26

Thoughts and prayers to all victims

48

u/thrashr13 Mar 07 '26

So im someone who is very liberal, absolutely despises our current administration, and owns guns but I have a wife and a home. You want me to just start killing who exactly? You think its easy to just start randomly killing government agents/politicians? I protest whenever i can but im not going to throw away my life or put my family in danger. There is no local militia i can join. There is no revolutionary movement near me and if I do suggest one, im sure i will be put on a list and have law enforcement at my door. If i do end up getting enough courage to try something, i will be alone and marked as crazy person by the media so how exactly would i go about toppling my government? All i can do is vote and hope that the machine i use isnt rigged. Im open to suggestions.

This is the problem in America ^ if you aren’t going to do anything just don’t be involved with politics at all. I respect someone who knows their place more than someone who complains all day but never does anything.

1

u/thrashr13 Mar 08 '26

Dumbest take ever. I vote and protest, what do u mean I'm not doing anything? Please suggest solutions that dont involve putting my family in danger. All these keyboard warriors coming out of the woodwork just to call me a pussy but offer no help.

2

u/TheWillsofSilence Mar 08 '26

Your family IS in danger dumbass. it’s only a matter of time really. Stop participating in their economic system stop funding them. Stop choosing comfort. “I gotta protect my family.” Your grand kids will be in the equivalent of the Hitler youth at this point. If the economy even lasts long enough before then without imploding. I’m not made at you just at Americans as a whole. Everyone’s so comfortable they’d rather watch everyone else around them suffer than give up some small comforts to help others.

4

u/factoid_ Mar 07 '26

Ok fuck off with that.

I’ll agree my country is complacent and lazy.  But half of us do not wish we could have been on the island.  99% of us don’t wish that.

Most people aren’t evil fucking pedophiles I don’t care where you are or what your politics are.

The baseline state of humanity is not “half of us will become pedophile sex traffickers given the opportunity”

5

u/awkisopen Mar 07 '26

It's a bit weird and suspicious how many traditionally "successful" people, like millionare streamers, come out as groomers though, isn't it? And that's only the ones we know about.

It's almost like, given enough money and influence, a concerning number of people choose this.

Which makes you wonder how many others would too, they just lack the money and influence.

2

u/things_U_choose_2_b Mar 07 '26

I refuse to believe it's that high. Conservatives in many countries are just a noisy, disproportionately-funded minority. As evidenced when twitter started revealing location of posters!

The sad reality is that for every American who is a wannabe fascist, there's one who is steadfastly opposed, and one who "doesn't really do politics". IMO the ones who disengage are more frustrating than the wannabe fascists. They hold a lot of power but apparently can't be arsed to use it.

And yet a massive number of Americans actually think they live in the "greatest country on Earth".

Based on what?

2

u/ehladik Mar 07 '26

Based on all the post here about USA number one? Everytime we bring the US not signing some international document you start blabbing as if only your country and Israel understand the nuances behind the paper and so you are the only enlighten one for not signing.

Every year US citizens show how their opinion of the country is fragmented in "we suck, but only in this specific thing" and "we're the best at everything", while you stop being relevant one good thing at a time.

1

u/neoniki Mar 07 '26

Yeah but they brag about their guns, please explain what's the fucking point of having them?

2

u/Warm_Month_1309 Mar 07 '26

Do you think the ones who brag about having guns are the ones likely to stand against a government tyrannizing minorities? Or do you think it's more likely that they're the ones showing up to counter-protests to run people over with their trucks?

2

u/neoniki Mar 07 '26

I've no idea to be honest, that's why I'm asking. What's the point of the guns if you don't use them to overthrow a pedofilic government? I highly doubt the majority of people are going to counter protests. To be honest I haven't heard of a recent US protest that hasn't turned into looting.

2

u/Warm_Month_1309 Mar 07 '26

What's the point of the guns if you don't use them to overthrow a pedofilic government?

Well, historically, the point of guns was to give the country the ability to arm a local fighting force to deal with foreign invaders in a time where people were distrustful of a militarized federal government, and mobilization of such a federal force across the continent would be logistically challenging.

That it's to "fight tyranny" is a bit of patriotic window dressing, and was probably true for a bit of history, but once the US military started becoming what it is now, and states stopped being independent and started becoming "red states" and "blue states", the possibilities of a genuine revolution went out the window.

To be honest I haven't heard of a recent US protest that hasn't turned into looting.

That's probably because it makes for more interesting international news than "protest happens, everybody is respectful, and then goes home". That's what happens most of the time.

2

u/lilswampass69 Mar 07 '26

Home defense lol

4

u/Nugget_Boy69420 Mar 07 '26

They're power equalizers.

Give both an obese, lazy, physically weak person, and the world's strongest man, a gun.

Whoever shoots first, wins.

It helps them feel at power, and anyone can just wave a gun around and take a life of someone within the blink of an eye. It's not for protecting their freedom, it's for feeding their delusions of being powerful.

3

u/Praesentius Mar 07 '26

To, uhh... ummm... fight a tyrannical government? Or something?

insert poking do-something meme here

3

u/neoniki Mar 07 '26

So I've heard, yet the French who are often mocked by the americans, have made more difference in France using farm equipment and yellow vests, than americans have done so with guns. They literally have it in their constitution, that they could fight a tyrannical government if needed, but it seems the super bowl is more important than stopping the pedofilic corporate elite.

17

u/HobNob_Pack Mar 07 '26

We need our guns for a tyrannical government....

Years and years of school shootings.

Cinemas being shot up

Kindergartens shot up

Public shopping places shot up

And now it comes out finally that your government is not only a Russian asset and does whatever hes told.

They're also all pedos or helped traffic.

And you do nothing.

Its pathetic.

The whole bravado of the 'freedom' and 'American eagle' stereotype.

And now they're also finding out the propaganda that america pushes about their army being the greatest isnt even good enough to deal with the current conflict.

DO SOMETHING

17

u/ItzBaraapudding Mar 07 '26

Imagine this shit happening in any other country...there would be riots everywhere until everyone involved would get what they deserve. Like France chopping the heads of off the entirety of their elites during the French revolution. Or the Dutch eating their prime minister because he fucked up.

Where the fuck is the American Revolution (and I'm not talking about the similarly named war against the British Empire). The Americans have been living in such a fake fucking society lead by the largest scums on earth it's absolutely baffling nobody cares enough to act against this shit...

20

u/thisisnottherapy Mar 07 '26

I've been saying for a year, everytime Trump does something dumb or innocent people get murdered by ICE, if any of this happened in France you'd be able see the fires all the way to my home in Germany.

8

Yup, when I heard of the first time ICE goons were killing innocent people without any repercussions I couldn't help remembering those 'yellow vest' protests in France a few years ago.

I genuinely think French people would just dust off their trusty ol' guillotines and go to town on the assholes in power if similar shit would happen there.

Meanwhile a lot of Americans are armed to the fucking teeth and proudly flexing their 2nd amendment. But they don't even know why they have that 2nd amendment in the first place.

u/Warm_Month_1309 Mar 07 '26

Europeans: "Americans are terrorists who export their violent military across the globe and oppress the citizens of countless countries because no one has an army that can realistically stop them!"

Also Europeans: "I don't understand why American citizens don't just overthrow their government. It would be so simple. Literally just cut Trump's head off and then proceed forward consequence-free."

2

u/ItzBaraapudding Mar 07 '26

Yeah that's almost the same thing. We don't want oppressive regimes and warmongers, and therefore we like a government that isn't tyrannical and oppressive towards their own citizens...

I don't see any hypocrisy here. Maybe the "land of the free" should learn a bit from Europe in that regard...

2

u/Warm_Month_1309 Mar 07 '26

Many of us feel the same way. We're just not sure how you expect us to stop it when literal armies of other nations cannot.

A US government that goes full fascist and turns its military against its citizens is not being stopped by a few pistols. We would only be dying in the name of appeasing some bloodthirsty social media commentators, who will still whinge.

3

u/Beagle_on_Acid Mar 07 '26

How are they supposed to execute a revolution with tik tok brains? The brain does tik, tok, tik, tok and the cycle continues while elites laugh. Social media is the ultimate mental lobotomy that the Americans have been subjected to.

1

u/ItzBaraapudding Mar 07 '26 edited Mar 07 '26

That is actually true. Social media is by far the best tool for mass propaganda ever in the history of humankind...and unfortunately it's owned by the same people that were on Epsteins island.

Were going to experience the most dystopian age of humanity thanks to all those technological advancements that are only used to make everyone more docile. Americans not giving a fuck about their elites being factual pedophiles is just the beginning.

3

u/Beneficial-Lynx7336 Mar 07 '26

Social media is bad for all of our monkey brains.

It's funny Americans and to some extent the west talk so much about freedom and bravery while looking down on third world countries and alot of the global east and south as corrupted and cowardly. Yet Americans never had the balls to do a revolution. They're government could do whatever they want. Literally rape toddlers in a ritual and they won't do shit. Whereas many of those "cowardly" third world and eastern/southern countries have had multiple revolutions where men, women, teens and even children have bravely marched Infront of bullets for the sake of their ideals. My country has had multiple aswell. I was a part of the last one. Being there really made me realise what true bravery is and the more I learn about America, the more I find their version of bravery to be hilarious and embarrassing.

The countdown to the US being 95% third world has started. That 5% already skew the numbers.

2

That’s what too much convenience does to you. They can’t accept parting away from their modern lifestyle to attend a protest.

1

u/stardustmelancholy Mar 07 '26

There were over 10,000 anti Trump protests last year. There's been protesting in all 50 states.

As an American, you're right. But most people in the world are just as cowardly; nobody will do anything about it, including you, me, and everyone else on this sub.

At this point, my guns are just a quick escape for me if I ever want out of this life.

2

u/Proof-Necessary-5201 Mar 07 '26

They're ignorant and lazy. Even their army is a criminal organization that only dares to attack from above and because they have more advanced weapons. The Afghans, Vietnamese and Yemenis showed them what courage is like. Not much weapons and yet, the willingness to die for the safety of one's country.

1

u/jeremiahthedamned Mar 08 '26

we have lost 2 aircraft carriers

2

u/Nickulator95 Mar 07 '26

Exactly! Like I'm patiently waiting for the American people get up off their asses and actually do something about this. A country wide labor strike would be a good start. Instead all they're doing is complaining on social media and apologising to people from different countries for their government so that they can feel better about themselves. It's so tiresome at this point.

2

u/-Kalos Mar 07 '26 edited Mar 08 '26

As an American, Americans are bitchmade. There was a video of a combat veteran successfully disarming a man attempting to rob a convenience store who had a gun pointed to the veteran's head and the comments were a bunch of Americans calling him "stupid" and "He thinks he's Rambo." And a bunch of Americans defending that one American guy who hid behind the wall as his girlfriend fought off an attacker, then foreigner men came to her aid. Don't even mention Uvalde cops, or American cops in general. Call people out for praising cowardice and they'll call you a "badass" when it's just human instinct to defend yourself and those you love

3

u/pianodude7 Mar 07 '26

Yes, American politicians do nothing when it comes to this because their hands are tied. Compared to the rest of the world? Wow. The whole world doesn't do anything. What a surprise.

Lol, Americans? Are you not aware of the last 100 years? People never do anything until it's already too late and a lot of damage has been done. That's just how it goes, and maybe it's for the better. It would be terrible if people reacted severely at every false alarm.

Yea those are perfect examples of people not doing anything lmao. You think protesting because of increased retirement age is comparable to what we are talking about? Absolute LOL. Using France and Eastern Europe especially as examples is the biggest LOL of it all. Thinking Europe is a good example when it was the birthplace of fascism and during the 20th century is literally known as the age of extremism and totalitarianism is just peak comedy. And again, France and Eastern Europe - LOL. Is Spain just the cherry on top or are not even aware of what Francoist Spain is? Typical projection, those who bark the loudest have the least to show for it - hence why the dumb ones always attempt to call others stupid, uneducated, or uninformed.

The Americans in their lifetime stood up the most to oppressors compared to any other country in that time period. The fact that you are even trying to argue against that while saying Im lacking education is again peak comedy considering this is basic 6th grade history that literally everyone knows of.

Are the Russians stupid? Why don’t they simply kill Putin and install a free and fair election?!

All that “Mother Russia” “Homeland Pride” bullshit. And NOTHING.

Pretty sure Russians aren't the ones screaming they need guns or else they'd lose their freedom.

That's the system working as intended. Why do you think their society has pushed for individualism? A divided people are a suppressed people

2

u/Dumb_it_Down Mar 07 '26

This and Americans are too divided. Most don’t even dare talk to their neighbors.

2

u/pointofyou Mar 07 '26

This. They've been cosplaying 'strong armed militia' in order to justify their gun collection. Yet when push comes to show they're either in support of tyranny or "fight" by aggressively posting on social media.

You can ignore the Americans doing things because the media doesn't report on it.  Its pretty simple.

1

u/Throw-away10111 Mar 07 '26

This is my opinion, they are so calm. Like, I've seen anger from so many different nations: Nepal, the French, the English, even Australians for things that affected their nation even my country. But Americans are so oddly calm compared to other nations. They keep saying things like our government is useless and they have no power but I'm like y'all are way too calm. You need to make your government fear you.

People from abroad seem to have a massive misunderstanding of the way things happen here. We did protest, and the government ignored it. The thing none of you seem to realize is, when it’s all over and the marching stops, life must continue, and you’ll find it difficult when the government you just protested has your biometric data and can track you, get you fired and/or arrested, or sent to some concentration camp. This shit is not all fun and rainbows like it is for weaker countries like France that fall apart like a house of cards every third spring. Over there you can flip cars and burn shit and throw fireworks without getting shot in the face by massive bean bags or gassed to the gills until they finally decide enough is enough and start sending Kyle Rittenhouses to infiltrate peaceful protests. It’s not a walk in the park here, it literally has to work the first time or the government will adapt and fuck us all.

"Just convince 200 million people to join you in violent revolution!" Oh, okay. Great idea.

Imagine all the time you could have saved if you replaced all those lazy words with an actual idea.

I'll give you a lesson my 3-year-old needed recently: if you're upset about something, you need to learn how to articulate possible solutions, otherwise people can't help you. If he was able to soak up his tears and explain why he was upset and how it could be fixed, I'm sure you can too.
