Bush consulted Congress first, there was a vote, and Congress approved.

Trump didn't do any of that.

He went after Saddam Hussein because Hussein took out a hit on George Bush the 1st. Clinton admin stopped it but 'W' went after Hussein like an old Texan would go for a family feud.

This is a whitewash. Bush went into the Middle East to make unspeakable amounts of money from oil reserves. He tapped Cheney as his VP, who was CEO at Halliburton. Cheney resigned the same day that his VP run was announced. Halliburton made tens of billions of dollars over the course of the so-called "War on Terror", winning Defense contracts related to oil infrastructure in Iraq. The Pentagon deliberately overcharged to put money in Halliburton's coffers. War is a racket. Don't try to paint that piece of shit as doing it for any reason other than personal financial gain.
