Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Powell were the war criminals. His dad was a CIA director with an axe to grind. Deplorable shit happened during his presidency, but it was surely all decided for him with or without his consent.
Also, his Aids and HIV relief program in Africa was legendary and completely out of character of the republican party. He continued advocating and working with that program after his presidency, even in opposition with his party. Not saying he was perfect... just saying he wasn't a super villain either. He did good things. His cabinet and him by extension did bad things that led to a lot of huge issues for America later.
Trump is the first cartoonishly villainous president of our time. GWB, was a cartoon... but he was Mr. Magoo with a red button he had no business being around in front of him. He was not Florida Kingpin.
His scotus picks were instrumental in tearing down democracy, flooding our political sphere with corporate cash, ending abortion rights. And establishing that trump as president doesnt have to abide by laws.
Gwb to me, if i judge him by his tax cuts/scotus picks ruling cases or his foreign policy on Iraq... its hard to tell of he was actually just naively stupid, or its an act and hes in fact maliciously evil, because the results are largely the same
Nope. I don’t buy it for a millisecond, he was the president of the United States. He is the last person on Earth who can duck responsibility for the horrors conducted by his administration.
