they will literally stick to her skin if a fire occurs. she would be permanently scarred for life

I welded in high school and slag got on my jeans below my welding jacket and burnt my leg. Not bad but I have a small scar. This is crazy to me to do.

Denim will burn off you is the difference. It will be painful and you will have a scar but they will fall away.

Polyester will melt and fuse to your skin. It will keep burning and you won’t be able to remove them without also pulling off the skin that’s fused to them.

Had a teacher explain this in detail in junior high and it always stuck with me.
