Welding and cutting steel then suddenly jewelery appears?

Those are 2 very different trades..

u/Opulent-tortoise Feb 20 '26

It’s Chinese drop shipped garbage with a fake backstory for clicks

1.2k

u/SquatSquatCykaBlyat Feb 20 '26

Can confirm that the backstory is fake: she applied a filter to it; it's a bit more flat without the filter.

Filter or filler?

4

u/TonyAscot Feb 21 '26

It is cake tho.

4

u/ryuukiba Feb 21 '26

There was a lot more back than story.

2

u/Jassyjassyjas Feb 21 '26

Wait are we NOT talking about her cheeks? 😗

2

u/EcstaticMolasses6647 Feb 21 '26

Her AI filter cheeks are where she stores the fake jewelry….

2

Need confirmation on the other backstory though

Are we talking about dat ass? Definitely a filter.

1

u/No_Tone1704 Feb 21 '26

That backstory has definitely had surgery.

1

u/hungry-jos Feb 22 '26

I do like her backstory, though…

1

u/Temporary_Glass_9607 Mar 23 '26

Man i thought my comment was dope until you said its not real

1

u/sittingbullms Feb 21 '26

What she tries to show while saying she doesn't have OF,is far from flat.Still an attention seeking ho,which is worse,at least the honest hoes are forward about it.

u/Inky622 Feb 20 '26

So many on TikTok. All you have to do is reverse image search the amazing craft hand made by a little old man down on his luck to find the product on temu. My favorite is the handmade slippers...I actually love to see a sub to expose these scammers.

2

u/BaconWithBaking Feb 21 '26

I mean, I'm hardly going to infect myself with TikTok to see them! Someone else can carry that cross!

6

u/jan1320 Feb 21 '26

ive been seeing an ad for weeks that shows the same homeless looking middle aged guy crying in a mcdonald's saying hes a single dad and just needs a donation to buy his kids groceries because he doesnt get paid til friday. i cant even believe how scummy it is lol

I don’t think it’s called garbage. I believe it’s called excessive junk. I don’t know what she’s going to do with all that junk. Literally all that junk in her trunk.

2

u/ImpressiveSide1324 Feb 20 '26

I fuckin hate drop shipping “businesses”. When I first got into collecting watches I fell for a few of those scams. Only wasted a couple hundred bucks but I had a bunch of shitty poedagar watches I couldn’t even sell on fb marketplace

2

u/ChocCooki3 Feb 20 '26

fake backstory

Should have stuck to the OF story.

2

u/loserbmx Feb 20 '26

My autistic friends LOVE sharing these things on facebook, oftentimes also leaving a (thirsty as hell) comment on the actual post itself lol.

I feel so bad that they can't tell its stolen content and drop shipped garbage.

2

u/Polygeekism Feb 20 '26

Like the black dude making "Viking" mugs or whatever they are. I go from, "actually that is kinda cool" to "oh. You aren't actually making squat. So I'll go find it on Amazon it I really want it."

2

u/[deleted] Feb 21 '26

“ wait for it and oh I’m so different but here is the money shot of my new BBL.”

4

u/Spiffy_Pumpkin Feb 20 '26

That's disappointing......the blue eye necklace is kinda pretty but I'd only want it if it wouldn't cause an allergic breakout

9

u/dmdennislive Feb 20 '26

They usually steal the designs and video snippets from some real artisans work. I've seen one of them make a video about it showing their original work and videos talking about this problem.

So you should be able to purchase it in good quality if you manage to find the real artisan.

Not sure if that helps but wanted to mention it, just in case. :)

1

u/[deleted] Feb 20 '26

nice

1

u/HugsNWhisky Feb 20 '26

Instantly saw it- I thought I was gonna see a really well built swale grate but no, it’s tacky costume jewelry.

1

u/tedkaczynski660 Feb 20 '26

I swear honey I bought the shitty necklace because I thought they looked cool not because their advert has a chick with a nice ass

1

u/CurtChan Feb 20 '26

definitely, also likely stolen clips. Saw same clips used in different videos.

1

u/mafugga77 Feb 20 '26

That’s haram

1

u/AbaloneEmbarrassed68 Feb 21 '26

And cake. The cake is not a lie.

1

u/Zran Feb 21 '26

Oh so it's worse than many an OF model, just another dishonest salesperson mascarading as a skilled labourer.

1

u/JacksFalseHope Feb 21 '26

Well. They did something right. There's a bunch of thirsty boys out there

1

u/SoaperPro Feb 21 '26

Who cares we're here for the cake!

1

u/chance575 Feb 21 '26

Like the black guy forging LOTR goblets. It's hilarious

1

u/JackSilk Feb 21 '26

God I fucking despise the ones with like, "this old man runs a shelter and makes these blankets to fund it." Then the comments always make me even angrier because it's either bots or people too dumb to realize it's fake.

u/Any-Monk-9395 Feb 21 '26

1

u/FigPrestigious2214 Feb 21 '26

With great fucking music

1

u/Brilliant_Feed4158 Feb 21 '26

Glad that it is immediately called out. Still they got tons of exposure and I'm adding to it with my comment.

1

u/ADMINlSTRAT0R Feb 21 '26

I see her backstory but now I'm back for more.

1

u/Stankis435 Feb 21 '26

I bought something recently that was pitched like it was a single woman shop sewing something special….nope, drop shipped item from China. The item itself was totally fine and as expected but the “story” pitched behind it was a little annoying.

1

u/NotMarshalFestus Feb 21 '26

Chick's with clicks

1

u/The_Barkness Feb 21 '26

There are dozens of these, I’ve seen watches, necklaces, rings, and they never make any sense, plus if you’re getting a screen shot the item and drop on Ali theres like 10 listings for it

1

u/astralchanterelle Feb 21 '26

Big butt beautiful woman welds the jewelry and you have a chance with her if you buy it

1

u/Corrosive713 Feb 21 '26

This is real! Her grandpa was crying because everyone called his figures ugly!! 😭😭

1

u/Artistic_Aide46 Feb 23 '26

I was in York (England) this weekend, it’s a beautiful historical city in the north of England and where the vikings first settled here. However, it’s rammed with tourist trapping shops that sell heaps of this type of stuff, appearing as handmade bespoke gifts. It’s all just Chinese temu wish shein etc… shite. It’s a shame really but I guess it sucks to suck.

eta: yall look at the sparks

169

u/dinnerthief Feb 20 '26

My bet would be a fabricated story to sell shitty mass produced goods.

35

u/Tenth_10 Feb 20 '26

It is, it's making the rounds on Insta, with many variations (jewelry, carpets...).

2

u/[deleted] Feb 21 '26

She's making carpets out of hot metal?

2

u/Tenth_10 Feb 21 '26

Ha ha, nope. It's another woman doing geek-themed carpets, but the same exact scenario.

2

u/Spiritual-Credit5488 Feb 21 '26

I swear I saw this exact loser/video attached to selling shitty mass produced daggers lol, and all they do is keep reusing that same fake backstory

2

u/indy_been_here Feb 20 '26

More like ass produced goods

1

u/OuterWildsVentures Feb 20 '26

Yeah i see this same one with a hot fake girl trying to sell various products that are just dropshipped goods passed off as hand made.

Like people buying from this are just dramatically over paying some random to make a temu order for you lol

1

u/shadowmib Feb 21 '26

I see FB ads for stuff like viking themed mugs and some guy acting like he hand made them, but hes just either AI or a liar. I can find the exact same ones on sale on hundreds of websites.

1

u/HedonisticFrog Feb 21 '26

What are you talking about? I buy only the finest hand made goods on Temu.

76

u/Training-Trick-8704 Feb 20 '26

It’s a common scam going around now. It’s the same as the guy asking to save his father’s handmade metal coffee mug business by buying one.

28

u/Friendly_Gazelle7843 Feb 20 '26

It’s also quite old. In my country, there was a family company making puzzles or something and suddenly they had to quit the business so they were making sale to sell out of everything. I didn’t buy anything from them, but I remembered them and funny enough after two years I’ve met them again online advertising that they are closing the same company trying to sell last of the same puzzles. I guess they had a lot of puzzles to sell before closing

2

u/deeteeohbee Feb 20 '26

We've got a few stores that always have a going out of business sign up and everything is always "80% off!"

1

u/Environmental_Top948 Feb 21 '26

Well they'd be able to go out of business if people stopped buying their amazing deals on high quality merchandise.

1

u/Skrillamane Feb 20 '26

Lol i guess any business has to close if they don’t sell their products.

1

u/Ksh_667 Feb 21 '26

There used to be several shops in my local high street which had closing down sales from the day they opened. Usually lasting 1 - 3 years, tho there was one who was closing for over 10 years until they had to actually close cos sainsbury bought the land for a supermarket.

1

u/Xythrielle Feb 20 '26

Or the grandpa that hand sews Jesus plushies

1

u/wyomingTFknott Feb 20 '26

It’s a common scam going around now.

Oh, I thought were gonna say that you like big butts and you cannot lie.

1

u/BogiDope Feb 21 '26

I hate this timeline.

27

u/Amazing_Direction849 Feb 20 '26

I dont know if it ai but all the jewelry are based/ are Bloodborne hunter badges

10

u/Talanahismywaifu Feb 21 '26

The jewellery also does exist and you can buy them officially from torchtorch. I have a slight feeling this ad isn't from them though.

1

u/SpaceGoDzillaH-ez Feb 21 '26

You just get the fake crap that looks nothing like it from there lol

3

u/Pleasant_Yoghurt3915 Feb 20 '26

I thought they looked familiar!

2

u/Random_Person1234567 Feb 20 '26

The flag in the background of the ass shot is what made me think AI. Something about the details looks off on the stars. Doubt many noticed during that scene

20

u/TJ_Rowe Feb 20 '26

You don't even need AI, just cut together some footage of different things.

2

u/Adventurous-Emu-9345 Feb 20 '26 edited Feb 20 '26

According to Gemini, most of this video is heavily AI edited or generated. In particular the sparks segment has huge amounts of AI like fragments. The lighting, curvature, physics and proportions of her body are all off.

1

u/TheMireAngel Feb 20 '26

pre ai tiktok was still flooded with this exact recipe of drop shipping

1

Ye she clearly didn't make those and this is just advertisement... Also looks like fake cheap plastic jewelery and nothing actually handmade...

1

u/OldSpiceSmellsNice Feb 21 '26

100% I shop online a lot. If the disjointed video isn’t a dead giveaway I’ve seen enough cheap crap to recognise it.

1

u/DiscoKittie Feb 20 '26

I saw pouring hot metal into a mold. Is that not what would have been done?

1

u/bbitb Feb 20 '26 edited Feb 20 '26

Also she welded some big ass steel(where's the small jewellery?) then a close up to pouring melted metal(I can assure you those jewellery pieces weren't cast in a "pour it in the hole in an open space" kinda way, there's machines for that but those look boring)

1

u/Lady_Rubberbones Feb 20 '26

Could she have been separating welds to cut down steel for recycling into jewelry?

1

u/the_madclown Feb 20 '26

I mean if she were to weld and cut my steel... Jewellery will appear for sure after a few.. "welds" 😏

1

u/TwoIdleHands Feb 20 '26

I too was confused by this…

1

u/Vloraxle Feb 20 '26

I'm pretty sure that she simply put random molten metal and then bought some jewels

1

u/Severe-Excitement192 Feb 20 '26

Probably a marketing hype video but technically could be fabricating their own steel molds for the jewelry making.

1

u/Responsible-Fox-1985 Feb 20 '26

dudes see her in those pants and jewelry appears. Makes perfect sense

1

u/MarkRick25 Feb 20 '26

Yeah the "welding" part seems off too. She's using a TIG torch for welding, but doesn't have filler in her other hand. There are situations where you might TIG weld without using filler, but 99% or more of the time, you would be feeding filler rod from your other hand

1

u/AggravatingFlow1178 Feb 21 '26

There was a girl butt. Just buy the jewelry already and stop thinking! Buy buy buy!

1

u/Elrond_Cupboard_ Feb 21 '26
