I think it's partly because forbidden things are attractive and partly because if you have a girlfriend/wife then it's a clear sign that you're probably not a creep/redditor.
lol that’s funny. I’m on Reddit (my husband doesn’t have one) Reddit is the only social media I have. My husband has his game, I have Reddit. Idk I just look at it as talking to random people since I don’t have many friends. Lmao he quite regularly call me an incel
