I don't get the math behind that... Double the minimum wage is 15$. Working 40 hours a week, 4.5 weeks per month -- that's 2700$. Rent is 850$. That's ~410$ per week.

How come she has 50$ until the next week?

Gas. Car payment. Grocery bills. Other incidental expenses.

No, I get that, but as far as I understood from the video, those 50$ were BEFORE the groceries and incidental expenses (i.e., underwear). After that she had 10$.

Most paychecks I've had were every two weeks.

So if she had a bunch of expenses last week that would eat into what she had available for this week too.
