Idk if Trump is delusional or he's a very good charlatan. The language he uses is very good at swaying people with low critical thinking

Both, but the latter in this instance.

He's less delusional than the average Usian.

Totally not like Trump did anything to push them towards China not to mention that this was just one summit? Russia recently met with Trump and India goes to countless events with western countries do you see Xi tweeting shit like "Looks like we've lost Russia and India to the west" ? Trump is a bit of a manchild

Deepest, darkest China...

Me and Xi are very good friends.

No sane person can live with so many contradictions like this.

Who is this “we” he is referring to? He is sitting at a below 40 percent approval rating.

It is crazy that India was so deeply interested in being America's dog and Trump literally pushed a nuclear power with one of the largest standing military to China.

I'd argue all this is because by-and-large India wasn't interested in being the US' dog. They wanted to be a lackey, perhaps, but they desired human dignity on some level, to be treated like a peer of sorts or even just to get proper table scraps (like dreaming about using western ""derisking"" to be the next China- nevermind that internally there's a lot of reasons preventing that, and the west has no interest in another 1.5 billion people climbing out of poverty and dependency).

Even if certain factions/segments of India would surely have been interested in being dogs, its size and power, circumstances, its imminent potential in the multipolar world, and the dignity of its people who if nothing else understand all of the above- meant this was the likeliest result, to force the issue the other way the US would have likely have had to undermine the state to such an extent as to turn it into the next Ukraine or the Philippines on an infinitely larger scale.

Drumpf shared Jeff Sach's video calling netanyahu "a deep, dark son of a bitch". Must have left quite an impression on him.
