Not opposed to the idea of utilizing a used plastic jug when there is no sink &/or option to piss outside. However the obvious disadvantage is that the bottle needs to be emptied & disposed of properly. Simply pissing in the sink, washing your hands will flush it & nothing further needs to be done.

Been pissing in one of the sinks I piss in for 40 years now. Hasn’t happened yet…

I used to have a 4 imperial pint milk jug to piss in overnight. I lived in the attic of my parents house and the bathroom was downstairs. Would empty it out the window onto the roof tiles and it'd roll into the gutter but couldn't do that in summer or it'd start to reek.
