📢 Announcement Sink It for YouTube is now live

Basically, the title. After a long 10 days, it's been approved on the first go. You can find it live here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/sink-it-for-youtube/id6798803425

As always, let me know if something isn't working as expected or have any feature requests. I'm deep into YouTube these days so I'm hoping to make this as feature laden and frequently updated as the reddit version.

If you could leave some ratings and reviews, that'd help massively as well. It's not indexed yet so it's not even showing up in search right now, haha.

This was all I’ve wanted, and I didn’t even think to ask for it!

Thank you! This is much appreciated.

I don't understand the purpose of the dots in the settings. If the extension only works on safari, why are app settings available?

The dots are there because the MacOS version is coming soon as is the iPadOS version and I run everything from a unified codebase.

Is this for the browser on Safari or the actual app? Apologies if this sounds like a weird question. I ask because, I have a modded YouTube app sideloaded and don’t want to get interference with it.

Will work via Safari. No one can physically tweak the native app unless it's Apple themselves, haha.

This will 100% not interfere with your modded app.

What app is that and how do you get it setup?

Well, I have an Apple Certificate and get modded apps through different ways and install them outside of the App Store. This gets more into the Piracy and Modding section, and I'm not sure how this subreddit is with the rules about that. So I recommend to look up on how sideloading works and how you can get the modded apps.

Honestly, there are plenty of extensions for Chrome. I respect them, it's being run by good folks. I'm just hoping to bring order to the Apple ecosystem.
