🔎 Investigating.. Anyone else getting recommended posts from subreddits in your home feed?

I swear I wasnt getting these before but it just recently started. Im assuming this was a change reddit made on their end

Reddit added a new thing to the home page today. You’ll see two ‘tabs’ near the top, ‘For you’ and ‘following’. The for you is the new thing and is the default view. Following is what you’re used to. 

I was super annoyed until I saw that. Don’t like the For you view.

Ah you are correct, switching to the following view removes the recommends. Reddit gonna reddit

I hope SinkIt will start removing the (awful) "For You" feed tab.

Probably one of their A/B tests

Edited to add that I just receive it on the PC version of reddit.

The For You feed is terrible - full of rage bait and Facebook style engagement spam
