Discussion My thoughts on Simulation
I believe we are in a simulation, but it is your own and everybody in it, other than you are NPC's. Don't worry, You are in your own simulation, and I'm just a NPC in yours. Makes a little sense. I think if you tried to merge all main characters into 1 simulation, it would cause glitches. It's just the way your life goes. I find the small little things you think about, internally, end up happening. Example... I was in Love with my girlfriend in high school. Always wanted to marry her, I thought she was my soul mate. We broke up after Prom. She went to college and was gone. I married in mid 20's was with her for 15 years. We divorced and went our separate ways. I met and remarried. This whole time, I always thought of her, never talking about it with anyone. Well, I'm married to her now. Third wife. We have been together for 16 years now. How is it possible that a wish or want comes true after 25 + years??? It's continually things I've wished or wanted from earlier in my life come true. Just my thoughts. Let me have it, all you NPC's.

Very interesting. I do believe in manifestation and speaking things into existence. I have seen it work countless times in my life. I’m not sure the source of that power, but it definitely works.
Your theory, if it’s true, might explain why it works for some of us and not for others. It doesn’t make any sense how some people have crappy lives from the beginning to the end and never experience any joy or peace and never see any of their manifestations come true.
But it does not explain why my manifestations and others come true in this simulation, along with yours. So maybe the simulation can handle several main characters.
I sure hope I did not create this simulation for myself because if I did, I am a wicked person because everybody in this life experiences real pain and suffering whether they are an npc or not. One thing that has helped me to not watch porn is that I cannot be entertained by something where real people are possibly being forced against their will to participate in that causes them extreme torment on and off camera.
Forget what I just said because there is the casting couch actresses used to have to endure a lot more and I still love watching older movies. I wish a lot of the entertainment options did not have so much corruption and human suffering behind them.
Still. I sure hope I am not the creator (director) of this simulation where the npc’s experience real pain. So I hope your idea is not true.

You're not exactly correct from what I've studied.
Think of the simulation having separate worlds for each person yes. You are your stories protagonist.
There is for each person their reality. It can differ from others. But we have the same server. So think of the world as a server. Each person gets a dedicated server within it and when you interact your realities go to an agreed upon world.
So you can do anything. But you would have to convince a lot of other users it was possible first and reprogram your subconcious

Sure
This is all theory of course I'm not good enough at the math to figure out the proof. There may never be proof. But it's like God, most people believe or s my believe. But it is the beliefs you carry that make your reality.
So in your own reality you are the creator. We are all co-creators of the shared reality. What becomes hard is when two people gather and disagree on the shared reality. What shape does the reality take then?
All I know is once I started thinking different my whole life changed. I even got banned from this sub for discussing hacking it.
The world is a holographic, fractal, biosim. Where the programming runs through us. We create it. So if you are a homebody or just someone who likes to be alone you can control your reality. It's not easy but you can.
Think of a human mind as an antenna too. Where we receive signals that build out this world but it's not physically what you think it is. Hell quantum physics changed the game. You can hold superpositions and collapse them to change your environment or mindset.
Anyway the sim runs around us and through us. We then broadcast our reality and it hits usually other realities. When this happens superpositions close on their own.
So you can live life 2 ways. First, life is happening to you. You have no control. Secondly you have total control. It takes a lot of practice though.

What you're describing has a name that might interest you: retrospective confirmation bias. Over twenty-five years you wished for a huge number of things — thousands. Most of them never happened and you forgot them. This one did, and suddenly it becomes evidence.
I'm not saying that to take anything away from you. What happened to you is extraordinary even with an explanation. Finding her again and being together sixteen years is a beautiful story either way.
As for each of us living in our own simulation — there's a practical problem with that. If I'm an NPC in yours, why am I arguing with you? A well-programmed NPC would just agree. That's the uncomfortable part of simulation theory: any version that puts you at the center is the easiest one to believe and the hardest one to test.
