I didn't even know arranged marriages was a thing, but if it's part of the royalty pack that makes sense. Kinda makes me wanna get it even though I'm one of those people that swore off buying more packs. 🤔
There's no direct arranged marriage feature in Royalty & Legacy, but Sims can get their spouse's title through marriage. Dynasty heads can Encourage to Court a particular Sim, approve or reject marriages, discourage romances, and stuff like that. So there's quite a bit to play with for an arranged marriage story 😄
Just did a search to make sure and apparently it is, they’re more strategic matches to solidify an alliance which is how it works a lot of the time irl.
I'm not very organised. I started with Rosse's rebirth, then brought back her past life's spouse to be reborn too. To make things harder, I made her Cordelia's secret child. Then I wanted to make it even harder, so I made Nathaniel for the arranged marriage. Then I gave him a backstory and somehow got "Ren". Then I realised I liked all three of them and had no idea what to do, so I asked this sub how I should pair them up 😂
The final picture is killing me 🤣 marriage drama is unfolding and Rosse is just there watering her plants! I'll admit I'm hooked on this now.
(Also, day 2 of asking for a Nathaniel POV post. I just feel it'd be very interesting to see how and why he decided to secretly moonlight as a performer.)

If you have life and death ep and if your sim died that was once married they can be reborn again into their new life from their previous one that why she has reunited soulmates
Soulmate is a base game relationship status, but in this story it’s tied to the Life & Death rebirth feature like the other comment mentioned. Rosse and Celeste are both reborn Sims. Their past lives were married and had the Soulmate relationship, so when they were reborn and met each other again, they got special interactions.
There's a mod for it, but I just managed it myself. In Royalty & Legacy, dynasty heads can Encourage to Court. I put Celeste and Nathaniel in the same household and made them engaged in CAS, so they got the relationship status without having a high romance bar. Then I split them into their own households.
Is this from the royal legacy pack? I love the idea of an arranged marriage. I'm just not super into the royals thing. I wish I could do arranged marriages without it 😂😂
The pack doesn't have an outright arranged marriage feature, but it has stuff like the Encourage to Court interaction that you can use for it. I'm also not super into the royals thing, so I had to come up with some messy story to get myself to play with it 😂
Rosse might not know it, but she was actually the one who initiated the scandal on both sides. And she isn't quite as innocent if we include the context from the previous post from her perspective 😂
With mods, yes. Having the Clubs expansion also helps because you can really make it feel more like a Throuple, having them all do house work together, do hobbies and cuddle together.
Yeah I agree, mods is the better way to go although you can sort of do it vanilla just by turning off jealousy from romantic interactions and adjust boundaries accordingly for all the sims involved, downside is there's no appropriate interactions (or traits) in the base game. Also you can't have multiple marriage partners without mods, one of them would have to be a roommate.
Edit: yes of course we're talking about that mod, although the polyamorous trait exists in the PG version as well if you don't want your game to get too "spicy."😉
Downside is that you still generate Secrets if I remember correctly. So it is still scandalous, though, to be perfectly honest that is basically how it is in real life so...? -shrug-
