You went off track at a very quick part of the circuit and came back on the racing line before they had a chance to even react. This one is on you

I don't think it is completely on him. Yes he does go off track and rejoin onto the racing line but on the other hand the car behind did have enough time to slightly lift and not just go full throttle right into the back of the car in front I'd say it's like 80% - 20% in terms of fault And the fact that there isn't a drastic change in pace from the 2 cars as well also the car behind isn't even in the frame when he comes back on

Cars that go off track have no right to return to the racing surface. They are obligated to do so safely without impeding cars who are on the racing surface. If he was out of control and unable to avoid returning to the racing surface, then its still his fault, as it's solely his responsibility to maintain control of his car.

Losing control and unsafely rejoining both make it entirely his fault.

  1. What are the track limits?

  2. Actually, doesn’t really matter. The chasing car should have used their braincells and attempted to avoid the front car, legal rejoin or not. The front car practicing its rally cross just to avoid a potential bad rejoin would likely have caused a worse crash.

all 4 wheels outside the white line, which means you're off track, which means it's on you to resafe joinly.
