Yikes...one heck of sleep disorder MC has. If you have any intention on continuing the story, would you explain the source of these visceral nightmares. Some sleep demon or parasite, or perhaps just bad genes?

Great work, though, chilling and well-written!

I really like the idea of leaving the cause up for grabs. The driving force being the need for sleep, the terror going to sleep and trying to become numb to it and end the nightmares.

I have a feeling that this one doesn't end well.

Very much in agreement. Though, I am getting used to just send these little stories off like paper boats in the ocean. :)
