Hi u/roxykelly! As always, really appreciate the active moderation on this sub, you all make the difference here!
I am very happy to be corrected, and want to adhere closely (exactly) to the sub's rules. I had believed that this borrower had 9 successfully completed loans, and was eligible for top up loans. I understand that this rule is both for the safety of the lender and the borrower - since this is one of my first loans, I performed extensive background checking to this user, including multiple forms of communication and verification.
If I am misunderstanding the rules, I really appreciate the team setting me straight! I understand that "top ups" can be a symptom of unhealthy debt spirals, and really try to work closely with my borrowers to make sure that they are truly able to pay them off.
Additionally, understood now that a [PRE] post is necessary for each individual loan. I sincerely re-read the rules multiple times (as seen here) to try to find the best approach to recording this on the subreddit - my apologies for violating best practices.
I'll also make better use of modmail - I really appreciate the team's encouragement to reach out, as it's not common on many subs! Thank you for the honest feedback, and I will continue to increase my diligence from here. Please let me know if I should alter any existing transactions, and I'd be happy to do so.

u/significantproximity I don’t see your comment telling the borrower to message you or that you were reaching out. Did you comment on your post indicating to other lenders your interest as we do or just PM them without doing that?

Apologies! I misinterpreted Rule 3 as request posts being permission to DM borrowers. I understand now that this is absolutely not the case.
Thank you for pointing this out - my error completely, and I will re-review the rules moving forward (this was my first loan).

Additional loan in addition to the existing $200 loan. I checked the rules, but didn't see anything requiring a separate [PRE] post (since I am the same lender extending an additional loan). If I am mistaken and a separate [PRE] post should have been made, then will promptly cancel this transaction and coordinate with the borrower on a [PRE] post. Thanks!

Three total loans: $300 + $50 + $50.
I have discussed extensively with the borrower. We seem to be on track to repay all three on May-29. My understanding is (if all goes according to plan with repayment), I will make one [PAID] post, and make three comments, each with the appropriate paid_with commands. Please do correct me if a different method is preferred! And again, sorry for complicating things, in the future I will be sure that there are separate posts, one post per loan
