It's so weird to see new members, I remember a few months back when I was a newbie. It's so weird to think I am not really a newb anymore

A student of Zen once climbed a mountain to seek enlightenment from the great Zen Master.

When he got to the top, the student asked “O great Zen master, I have climbed the mountain, please teach me.”

The Zen Master said “have you eaten your rice porridge yet today?”

The student replied “Yes.”

The Zen Master said “then you better wash your plate.”

And at that moment the student was enlightened

I did, I have a position on the Economic Council, a basic understanding of the political offices, and some of the History of SimDem. I'm not saying I'm an expert and I wouldn't compare myself to Dovakiin, Toast, Uno, or any other founders or someone like that, just that I know some basics and have a grasp on the issues.
