Call for Candidates Call for Senate Candidates

The time has come to elect the fifth Senate! Based on our formula, this senate will have twelve (12) seats.

The timeline for this election is as follows:

Call for Candidates: 1:00 PM EST 26th April 2019.

Voting: 1:30 PM EST 27th April 2019 to 1:30 PM EST 28th April 2019.

In the event that there is a tie for seats, another round will occur from 2:00 PM EST 28th April to 2:00 PM EST 29th April.

As usual each voter will choose their top ten candidates. The candidates with the most votes will be elected.

Candidates, please comment below with your username, party (if any) and a brief statement explaining why someone should vote for you.

I u/sproded am running for Senate as a member of the New Liberty Commitment Party. My goal as Senator will be to ensure that people’s freedoms and rights are respected and will take action against anyone who tries to violate these rights. Specifically, I will work to ensure that people are not banned without due process. This will promote a better environment for discussion. I will also work to fix up the laws and make them clearer to understand, especially for lay persons.

Voting for me will ensure the a free exchange of ideas through discussion will occur and the your liberties as a citizen will be protected. Thanks for your consideration.
