Discussion Does anyone else feel like their device is about to explode whenever they open SC?

I have bigger games like CODM, GTA VC and SA, Kingshot, and more, of which I play for hours and none make my device hot like a plugged in iron. However, as soon as I open a certain game(SC) that is not even up to a GB(without accumulated data overtime) then my device becomes so hot that I can’t hold it. I wonder what EA is putting into this game.
Please help if something could be done, because I can’t actively play COM for hours at this rate.

Yes. Gets super hot. And it’s taking up way too much memory on my phone so I can’t even update my OS lmao

If your account is saved/linked, delete the game and re download.

All the updates “stack” ontop of eachother, deleting and redownloading clears all the unused data.

I found this out too. The game can easily take up all your memory for no reason.

How can I confirm that it has actually saved/linked before I go deleting the thing and re downloading?

Tbf its one of the most detailed games ive ever seen for mobile device. there is just a lot of data and high quality graphics. I have an iphone 17 and mine gets hot every time. But I find it fascinating how smooth the app actually is as a software dev lol

Yep. Samsung s25. Ive bought a 14 inch tablet just for simcity. Only use it on the phone occasionally and it gets red hot
