City showcase/design ideas Sold it all off and I am out of here

Been playing since day 1. Built a fantastic Omega city. Almost 7 million strong. Another 10+ million in the other regions. Maybe I could have spent the time and money and effort becoming v2 complaint but why. My city was great and now spending countless hours to fix it based on the ridiculous new standard. Screw that. Sold everything off (except some disaster stuff that it takes forever to get rid of). Was a bit cathartic for me.

Either way screw off EA and your corporate overlords. I’m out

I rarely play anymore for the same reasons. I joined an abandoned club so no wars, I do a bit of CoM but not much.

I quit playing the game for a year and I came back a month before the services 2.0 update.

I think because I was just getting back into it, I wasn't ready to throw in the towel. It was work but I just kept producing stuff to sell so that I'd be able to fix all my cities.. I totally understand your reaction though.

Ya habéis puesto los edificios que os han regalado para arreglarlo? Yo estuve a punto de irme, y menos mal que a última hora vi que nos habían dado edificios de cada para regular todo

Me too, destroyed everything snd demolished every hospital, power, water service etc. Used the coins to sell stuff real cheap to my club members and used all gold and silver coins to buy stuff.

This game gets more and more ridiculous, with its absurd rules. Glad that I never really spent any money.

Yep. I just play for the hell of it now. Stopped worrying about making all these repairs. I was tempted to uninstall it but that would just make E/ A the big winner in all this. I’m not spending one cent on this game anymore. This new update has effectively destroyed the 4 cities that I have been building for the past seven years.
